Russia is using Communist propaganda to demoralize and mislead the American public. The major mass media outlets in the US are by and large committed leftists.

The question is how much was due to Soviet propagandist and their activity in the US, and how much was due to people in the mass media just being ignorant and foolish.

Tyson's book, published in 1981 still serves to document the influence of the criminal Soviet Union on those whom we trusted to tell us the truth.
